Letter from DHHS to state directors, psychotropic medications & foster youth
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services describes a comprehensive departmental plan to strengthen systems of prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medication use among children in foster care to address concerns about disproportionately high rates of prescription and inadequate monitoring.
